Our family made the choice to bring in professional carers for my mother in January 2024, as her needs had grown beyond what we could manage ourselves. I was initially filled with anxiety and concerns—how would Mum cope with unfamiliar people in her home? What would the costs be? And most importantly, could we trust someone else to take on such a personal responsibility?
From the moment I met Joanne Townend, the Registered Care Manager for PerCurra Home Care Nottingham, I felt an immense sense of relief.
