Glasgow based care at home service praised in first inspection report
In its first inspection since registration, domiciliary care provider PerCurra East Dunbartonshire has been graded ‘Very Good’ for how it supports people’s wellbeing, its leadership and the quality of its team.

During an unannounced four-day inspection and visit at the end of April, the Care Inspectorate evaluated the service by talking to the manager, staff and clients; observing the day to day operation and reviewing information. The report, published on the Care Inspectorate website mentions how well the staff worked and communicated together. Leadership is recorded as being very good. Care plans set out the needs and outcomes people hoped to achieve and were created and updated with the involvement of the client and their relatives. The inspector also comments on seeing evidence of how staff arrangements were changed to accommodate a client’s preferences and changing needs and how the manager was highly creative with moving the support hours if they assessed the client needed extra support for their health and wellbeing.
Siriya Anwar is the owner and Managing Director of PerCurra East Dunbartonshire. She said: “It is really satisfying to receive such a high evaluation at our first inspection. Myself and my team are absolutely dedicated to providing the highest quality home care. That means being flexible to our clients’ needs and listening to them and their close family members who support them.”
The East Dunbartonshire branch is part of the UK-wide PerCurra home care network – an award-winning and highly respected provider that has been providing quality care and support since 2008.
