Making a Difference to Clients and Their Family
It's always touching to receive heartfelt messages from a client or their family members. It means so much to our team.
A beautiful thank you card has been received by the Registered Care Manager of PerCurra Nottingham. Joanne Townend and members of the care team were praised for the homecare support delivered to a gentleman in Nottingham. His family did not live locally and relied on the PerCurra team to keep him happy in his home.
The note reads:
Dear Joanne and all of your team at PerCurra who looked after my dad. Your care and devotion to his every need was second to none, you were always there for him and my family. We will be forever grateful to you all.
There were times when he was stubborn but you encouraged him to get out and about which did him the power of good and you always got a smile out of him.
As time went on his confusion became more profound; you found ways to remind him and put things in place to keep him safe in his home.
We always knew the time would come that he couldn’t live alone anymore, and was admitted to hospital where you visited him when I was 4 hrs away. And prepared him to move closer to me and his extended family.
Thank you all, Rebecca, Diane, Sab, Sarah, Nicola, Lily and all the other ladies who gave so much to him.
