Flower-filled wheelbarrows ready for Open Gardens event in Lady Bay, Nottingham
PerCurra, is delighted to be taking part in this year’s Lady Bay Open Gardens in Nottingham.

The event takes place on Saturday 22nd June and Sunday 23rd. PerCurra will be displaying colourful flower-filled wheelbarrows on the paved area outside its office - on the corner of Trent Boulevard and Pierrepont Road, in the Lady Bay area of West Bridgford. There will also be cakes, tea and coffee on sale to raise charity funds.
The wheelbarrows have been planted this week by Registered Care Manager for PerCurra Nottingham, Joanne Townend. The plants were very kindly donated by Notcutts Wheatcroft Garden Centre in Edwalton.
Joanne said: “It’s wonderful to have this competition in Lady Bay once again. It’s great for local people and also helps raise money for the Lady Bay Community Fund and other charities. We don’t have a garden outside our office but we are excited to take part in the new category of ‘Garden in a Wheelbarrow’. We would like to thank Notcutts for supplying the beautiful plants. We look forward to viewing the other gardens and hope local people enjoy our display.”
