Care At Home Provider In Line For Three National Awards
Nottingham based care service provider PerCurra has scooped three regional awards in two prestigious competitions – the Chamber of Commerce Business Awards and the Great East Midlands Care Awards. This puts the West Bridgford company in the running for NaAt the finals of the Great East Midlands Care Awards on Saturday, 16th October PerCurra Care Assistant Angela Parker was presented with the Home Care Worker Award. This recognises a care worker consistently providing a high quality standard for people living in their own homes. The judges looked for evidence of dedication, awareness of colleagues and level of training. Angela’s colleagues at PerCurra and the clients she cares for all describe her standard of work as exemplary and say she makes a huge difference to people’s lives and is a role model to other care assistants.
On Thursday 21st October, In a special ceremony organised by the Chamber of Commerce at Toyota’s facility in Derby, PerCurra was presented with two East Midlands awards. These were for Most Promising New Business, sponsored by BT, and Excellence in Customer Service, sponsored by AXA PPP Healthcare.
PerCurra Managing Director Gill Heppell said: “PerCurra is not yet three years old and this is the second year we have reached this level of success in the Care Awards and Chamber of Commerce Awards. We are very proud of the services we provide and of the level of care and commitment shown by our staff. Having this recognised by outside organisations is extremely gratifying and motivating for all of us.”
PerCurra delivers professional support services in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire to vulnerable adults living in their own homes. Its customers are the elderly, infirm and others who require help with personal care and household tasks. The company also offers respite care, companionship services and early discharge support following hospitalisation.
